PPL/IR Europe is open to any pilot who is interested in operating light aircraft under IFR in Europe.

Membership costs just £60 for a full year, and proportionately less if you join later in the year after the January renewal date. You can pay by credit card (much preferred) or by cheque (UK banks only).

Six times a year, you will receive our magazine Instrument Pilot. This is available in paper form or electronically, or both if you prefer.

You also get access to the members' forum, where members discuss a wide range of issues related to IFR flight, share flights, buy and sell aircraft an equipment and post airfield notes.

As a member, you have access to our list of members (via the link above) containing a range of details of interest to fellow members. This list is strictly for the private use of members.

We now have over 400 members, most of whom are private pilots with current Instrument Ratings, but some members are still working on, or considering, this rating, and a small number of commercial and airline pilots are also members.

Members play an active part in the organisation, through contributing to the journal and the web site, organising events, and assisting the technical issues where they have time, expertise or contacts.
